About the position
The Test Lead for Automotive Infotainment System is responsible for overseeing the verification and validation processes within the automotive infotainment domain. This role requires extensive experience in test planning, estimation, and reporting, as well as strong leadership skills to manage a team effectively. The position involves working closely with both onshore and offshore teams to ensure the successful validation of car infotainment features across various levels.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5+ members in the Automotive Infotainment domain.
- Develop and execute detailed test plans and quality test cases for car infotainment systems.
- Perform technical reviews of test plans, release plans, test cases, and use cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Conduct validation of car infotainment features at system, integration, and component levels both on bench and in-vehicle.
- Analyze test results and identify root causes of failures using strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
- Coordinate with onshore and offshore teams for effective test execution and reporting.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the Automotive Infotainment domain with a focus on Linux/Android based verification and validation.
- Strong knowledge of Automotive Infotainment System Architecture (both software and hardware).
- Extensive hands-on experience in test planning, estimation, and reporting.
- Proficient in QNX, LINUX, and Android operating systems.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
