About the position

The Test Lead position at YASH Technologies involves leading the testing efforts for software projects, focusing on automation and quality assurance. The role requires a deep understanding of system integration and the ability to translate requirements into effective test cases. The Test Lead will be responsible for managing the test automation suite, collaborating with clients, and ensuring high-quality deliverables through various testing phases.

Responsibilities

• Understanding requirement and translating them to test cases.
• Good understanding of Integrated systems and deriving System Integration test cases.
• Identifying and selecting automation test cases.
• Configuring Test Automation Suite to set it up.
• Automating the design of a framework and implementing it as per the project structure.
• Creating, enhancing, debugging, and running test cases.
• Collating and monitoring the defect management process.
• Managing changes and executing regression tests.
• Providing solutions for problems related to object identity and error handling.
• Interacting with clients to resolve issues and updating them on the situation/related risks.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong knowledge in UI Automation (Selenium + Java) or Microsoft Playwright.
• Strong knowledge in API Automation (Rest Assured / Karate / Cucumber).
• Experience in task automation (Python scripting).
• Hands-on experience in cloud technologies (AWS).
• Experience with tools like Maven, Git, Docker, Postman.
• Knowledge in writing SQL queries (Snowflake / Postgres).
