About the position

The Test Lead position is responsible for planning, deploying, and managing the testing efforts for a project module to ensure compliance with client and internal quality standards. This role involves participating in discussions to understand functional and design specifications, developing automated test scripts, maintaining test case suites, and ensuring the necessary test environments are up to date. The Test Lead will also create reusable test automation frameworks, develop test strategies, and mentor QA engineers to enhance their technical skills and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Plan, deploy, and manage the testing effort/work plans for the project module.
• Participate in functional and technical discussions with clients and teams to understand specifications and highlight performance concerns.
• Prepare automated test scripts and maintain the test case suite.
• Ensure appropriate test environments and infrastructures are in place and up to date.
• Develop and continuously improve automated tests as new system features are developed.
• Create reusable and scalable test automation frameworks and develop test strategies/plans.
• Maintain test data and submit status reports to minimize exposure and risks on the project.
• Guide and mentor QA engineers in the use of the testing framework.

Requirements

• Experience in SAP Basis Technical Architecture, particularly in Cloud, PaaS, and IaaS environments.
• Proficiency in reporting frameworks such as Cognos.
• Knowledge of web services and related frameworks.
• Experience in the medical devices domain, specifically in Cardio-CRM.
