About the position

The Test Manager will oversee the development and implementation of comprehensive test strategies for a financial client, ensuring end-to-end testing processes from client requirements through to vendor execution. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage both internal teams and third-party vendors, with a focus on regulatory compliance and effective stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that test strategy and planning is end-to-end from the client through operations to a vendor.
  • Monitor and influence across the business, technology, and internal vendors.
  • Lead third-party vendors for an enterprise implementation.
  • Utilize strong troubleshooting skills to break down complex issues.
  • Comprehend business requirements and specification documents.
  • Define and implement testing strategies and methodologies.
  • Build and manage a team of automation testers, manual testers, and testing professionals.
  • Set standards and guidelines on the choice of automation tools.
  • Track testing metrics and reporting.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of formal experience in testing.
  • Strong test leadership background with at least 4 years of previous test manager experience.
  • Experience in creating comprehensive test strategies and plans.
  • Proficient in utilizing test case management tools (Qtest).
  • Experience in requirements traceability and defect tracking.

Nice-to-haves

  • Financial and banking experience.
  • Knowledge of 1071 and bank regulatory compliance.
