About the position

The Test Sequence Planner / Data Analyst role at Lockheed Martin involves developing and implementing test plans for the Aegis Combat System. This position requires extensive knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel to ensure that shipboard testing and production requirements are met on schedule. The incumbent will work closely with the Aegis Test Team to address any issues that may impact testing and trial requirements, and will also support the presentation of data and metrics at quarterly reviews.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans for the Aegis Combat System.
• Create status and reporting tools for the Aegis Test Team.
• Ensure shipboard testing and production requirements are on schedule.
• Provide updates to the Aegis Test Officer and Aegis Test Manager regarding any issues affecting testing schedules.
• Support the presentation of data and metrics at the Ship Program Review.
• Develop automation tools for planning and managing the Aegis Test Team facilities and ship scheduling.
• Collaborate with engineers and the Test Operations group to understand testing requirements and resources needed.
• Work with the government test planner to enhance schedule building and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools or related scheduling tool sets.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Must have or be able to obtain a DoD Interim Secret Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• Ability to develop and program databases and scripts.
• Experience with artificial intelligence techniques for data organization and insight extraction.
• Practiced experience in project management using relevant tools and principles.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline.
