About the position

The Test Technician at Foxconn Wisconsin will be part of a testing team responsible for performing failure analysis and troubleshooting on test issues in a production environment. This role offers the opportunity to utilize critical thinking skills and contribute to the Smart Manufacturing sector by addressing production test issues and assisting in various testing processes.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and fix sustaining production test issues that need to be escalated from Repair Technicians and report to Test Engineers.
• Troubleshoot and repair fixtures.
• Monitor and maintain testing station performance.
• Create standard operating procedures for operators and testers for manufacturing test.
• Document testing procedures and update SOPs for testing operations.
• Help create and maintain records for issues and failures faced as part of test.
• Assist Test Engineers with test station setup and other processes including modeling, pre-pilot, and pilot runs.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 0-2 years minimum experience in printed circuit board assembly processes, methodologies, standards, and best practices.
• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Ability to read test logs.
• Basic understanding of Linux/UNIX.
• Ability to work with switches, network equipment, etc.
• Some experience with computer hardware like CPUs, NIC, and Memory.
• Experience with schematic and diagram reading.
• Familiarity with electrical components.
