About the position

The Test Technician position is responsible for the disassembly, assembly, re-work, and testing of various electrical and electronic equipment. This role requires maintaining a clean and safe workstation, adhering to company policies, and completing necessary training to ensure job performance. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment, assisting with efficiency improvements and performing maintenance tasks according to technical data and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform disassembly, assembly, re-work, and testing of electrical/electronic equipment.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
• Adhere to safety and attendance records.
• Learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required.
• Complete necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills for job performance.
• Follow written and verbal instructions.
• Work overtime as required by production schedules.
• Self-monitor work progress against benchmarks and achieve on-time delivery.
• Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects.
• Assist other departments with job duties as needed.
• Perform maintenance and alteration tasks according to technical data and FAA standards.
• Record work performed on appropriate maintenance records.
• Complete work according to instructions, specifications, and procedures.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years experience in an electronics manufacturing/testing environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to utilize manual and automated test equipment for testing digital and analog circuitry.
• Ability to read schematics and understand circuit functions.
• Fluent communication in technical terms, both verbally and in writing.
• Experience with MS Office Suite and computer literacy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
