About the position

The Test Technician will be responsible for conducting tests on products, systems, and components to ensure they meet quality and performance standards. This role involves close collaboration with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues, document results, and contribute to product development and quality control processes.

Responsibilities

• Conducting functional electrical and optical tests on semiconductor products in compliance with documented procedures.
• Conducting visual inspections of semiconductor die, wafers, and modules in accordance with documented procedures.
• Performing assembly operations in accordance with documented procedures.
• Updating manufacturing execution systems as parts move through processing.
• Maintaining inventory of required materials/consumables and placing orders for replacements as needed.
• Logging data and recording observations during process execution.
• Creating and maintaining procedural documents during and after training.
• Preparing products for shipment, receiving products from vendors and contract manufacturers.
• Adhering to safety, ESD, and clean room procedures.
• Working with small material using tweezers, vacuum wands, etc.
• Ability to occasionally move equipment, up to 40 lbs, between racks, benches, carts, etc.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 4 years of experience in a related field
• Experience in inspecting blueprints and product inspection
