About the position
The Test & Validation Engineer II position at Nightwing involves working in a dynamic, mission-focused environment to test, inspect, upgrade, and maintain various types of electronic equipment. The role requires collaboration with customers, vendors, and team members to resolve issues and develop creative solutions. The engineer will also be responsible for developing test procedures and reporting status to management.
Responsibilities
- Test, inspect, upgrade, and maintain various types of electronic equipment.
- Collaborate with customers, vendors, and team members to resolve issues.
- Develop test procedures and track/report status to management.
Requirements
- Basic experience with test equipment.
- 2+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree.
- Fundamental understanding of RF electronics theory.
- Existing TS/SCI with Poly security clearance.
- Competency with desktop computing and application programs (Microsoft Office, email, instant messaging, databases).
- Organized, innovative team player.
Nice-to-haves
- Solid understanding of RF, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, and Cellular technologies.
- Advanced experience with test equipment (Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, etc.).
- Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Existing TS/SCI security clearance with full polygraph.
