About the position

The Tester position at Sunbelt Solomon involves testing regulator transformers to ensure they meet quality and safety standards. The role includes inspecting incoming transformers, performing electrical tests, recording data, and adhering to safety and environmental guidelines. The Tester will also support operational goals and report any issues to the supervisor, contributing to the overall efficiency of the team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and evaluate incoming transformers, recording data accurately.
• Perform electrical testing on incoming transformers and document physical dimensions and any damage.
• Ensure all paperwork and data is recorded and saved properly in the database.
• Follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Safely utilize industrial equipment in compliance with environmental specifications.
• Complete assignments and report issues to the supervisor.
• Support monthly operational goals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Technical College education is a plus.
• Previous electronics experience preferred.
• Proficient with Windows operating system.
• Cooperative attitude towards internal and external customers.
• Ability to assist team members and elevate issues when necessary.
• Exhibit professional language, appearance, and conduct at all times.
• Capacity to learn other areas to fill in where required.
