Genesis10 is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12 + month contract position. The role involves significant interaction with various stakeholders, including tech partners, senior leaders, and business stakeholders, to communicate defect metrics during rituals and PMO calls. The consultant will be responsible for the hand-off of release scope to UATesters and business stakeholders, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of the testing requirements. Additionally, the consultant will manage the regression test suite in qTest and automation test scripts using Tricentis TOSCA, which requires a strong understanding of both manual and automated testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in UI testing, Tosca, and SQL Server DB testing, with at least three years of relevant experience. They should also possess practical experience with any test automation tool or methodology for a minimum of one year. Familiarity with Agile methodology, particularly Scrum, is essential, as the consultant will actively participate in rituals such as Stand-Up and Backlog Refinement using JIRA. A working knowledge of QA deliverables tool sets, including SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, qTest, and Outlook, is also required. The consultant will utilize their in-depth knowledge of testing best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables and will be expected to have experience with JIRA and Tricentis qTest.
