About the position

The Tester position involves testing software code to ensure it meets quality standards and client requirements. The role focuses on executing test plans, updating test case statuses, logging defects, and collaborating with team members and clients to facilitate effective communication and updates.

Responsibilities

• Test the functionality of software according to the test plan and respective test cases.
• Update test case execution status in the recording system and log defects.
• Coordinate with the team for discussions and interact with clients for updates.
• Assist in creating test cases from the Functional Specifications and Software Requirement Specification documents.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing and validation.
• Proficiency in creating and executing test cases based on specifications.
• Ability to log defects and update test statuses accurately.
• Strong communication skills for client interaction and team coordination.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with CAD customization and integration, specifically Solidworks.
• Experience in engineering design skills, particularly in plastic part design.
