About the position

The Testing Center Administrator (TCA) plays a crucial role in facilitating a positive customer experience for candidates taking computerized licensure exams. This position involves managing the check-in process, ensuring compliance with testing regulations, and providing support to candidates throughout their testing experience. The TCA is responsible for maintaining a secure and comfortable testing environment while also handling administrative tasks related to candidate verification and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Compliance with testing vendor, federal and state licensure rules, policies, and procedures
• Continuity of operation to support customers in their career advancement
• Verify identification methods with conviction and authority
• Electronically and sometimes paper check-in of candidates with digital photos, fingerprinting, and scanning of documents
• Process I-9 employment authorizations and fingerprinting for background checks
• Monitor candidates for rules compliance during testing
• Expedite candidate check-out processes
• Handle candidate concerns with courtesy and expertise
• Maintain a secure and safe facility for candidates and TCAs
• Participate in vendor mandated recurrency training on a semi-annual basis

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of experience in a customer-facing role
• Basic computer skills including familiarity with internet web browsers and Microsoft 365
• Ability to scan and print documents
• Typing skills better than just hen-pecking a keyboard
• Commitment to compliance and professionalism during candidate interactions

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in a testing or educational environment
• Familiarity with fingerprinting and I-9 employment verification processes
