About the position

The Testing Coordinator at CSA San Diego County is responsible for overseeing the Fair Housing Testing Program, which includes recruiting and training testers, coordinating tests, and analyzing data related to fair housing enforcement and complaints. Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the Fair Housing Testing Program.
• Recruit and train testers for the program.
• Assign and coordinate testing activities.
• De-brief testers after tests are conducted.
• Screen intake calls and provide information about fair housing laws.
• Investigate potential cases and assist consumers with complaints.
• Prepare programmatic reports and maintain accurate documentation.
• Create partnerships with local organizations and conduct community networking.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Experience in Fair Housing and civil rights advocacy.
• Excellent organizational skills and case management experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant law and rental market practices.
• Ability to conduct presentations to small and large groups.
• Self-starter with minimal supervision required.
• Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.

• HUD Certified Counselor certification.
• One year of full-time work experience in counseling or investigating fair housing complaints.
