About the position
The Test/QA Analyst provides research, analysis, design, execution, maintenance and/or support of testing solutions that are appropriate to the application, solution and project as assigned. The role involves providing day-to-day guidance to the project management team and testing coordination, managing the defect management/resolution process, and acting as the primary contact on projects for testing. The analyst identifies testing risks, coordinates the test environment, writes scripts and scenarios per QA methodology, and may lead the development and delivery of test strategies for less complex projects. Building relationships and working collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems is also a key aspect of this role.
Responsibilities
- Provides day-to-day guidance to project management team and testing coordination
- Manages defect management/resolution process and acts as the primary contact on projects for testing
- Identifies testing risks and coordinates test environment
- Writes scripts and scenarios per QA methodology
- May be involved in or lead the development and delivery of test strategies for less complex projects
- Builds relationships and works collaboratively to identify solutions and resolve problems
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree or Technical Certificate
- 3+ years relevant experience
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Co-Brand Credit Cards
- Automation experience with TOSCA strongly preferred
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Strong attention to detail
