About the position

The Texas ACE Site Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Texas ACE Program at the elementary campus level. This includes ensuring program quality and compliance as determined by the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (CCLC) Grant. The coordinator will implement the program under the direction of the Texas ACE Project Specialist, ensuring meaningful educational connections to school-day learning and maintaining a high-quality, safe, and supportive environment for program participants, staff, and partners.

Responsibilities

  • Implement the Texas ACE Program under the direction of the Texas ACE Project Specialist.
  • Communicate with Campus Administrators, service providers, and community partners to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Articulate the Texas ACE Vision, Mission, and Objectives to various stakeholders.
  • Meet regularly with the Texas ACE Project Specialist and Grant Director to discuss program progress and needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of Texas ACE program requirements and monitor activities for compliance.
  • Monitor student attendance and other data for program compliance.
  • Coordinate recruitment and enrollment of student participants.
  • Provide support to Texas ACE staff, including data entry and tracking expenditures.
  • Train and develop Texas ACE Afterschool staff and assess their performance.
  • Attend required trainings, webinars, and meetings.
  • Ensure a clean, orderly, and safe office environment.
  • Be available for flexible hours to accommodate evening and weekend activities.
  • Attend and support campus, district, and community functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong program, administrative, and computer skills
  • Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of local youth/family services
  • Experience supervising children grades K-12
  • Background in education and/or social work preferred
