About the position

The Texas Licensed Lead Clinician position at Deployed Services involves leading a team of clinicians to provide essential services to children facing significant challenges. This role emphasizes trauma-informed care and requires a compassionate approach to support the psychological and social well-being of children and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and guide a team of experienced clinicians.
  • Deliver critical services to children and their families.
  • Conduct clinical evaluations and direct engagement with clients.
  • Ensure high-quality, trauma-informed care with a culturally sensitive approach.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in behavioral health or related field.
  • Licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LCSW or LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Doctoral-level psychologist (LP) licensed in Texas.
  • 5 years post-licensure experience in child development, trauma-centered care, and clinical evaluations with children and families.
  • 2 years of management and staff supervision experience.
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS).
  • Pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check upon receiving a conditional job offer.

Nice-to-haves

  • Training in cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and psychological distress management.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
