About the position
The Texas Licensing and Regional Operations Lead (ROL) at Higher Ground Education is responsible for supporting school leaders in achieving operational excellence across a portfolio of schools. This role involves managing effective scheduling, ensuring data accuracy in the SmartCare billing platform, overseeing licensing activities, and enhancing the parent experience. The ROL will work closely with school leaders to implement efficient campus routines and support the overall success of the schools, contributing to the organization's mission of providing high-quality Montessori education.
Responsibilities
- Support school teams in achieving operational excellence by ensuring clean data and efficient day-to-day operations.
- Oversee licensing practices for 11 schools in the region, ensuring compliance with Texas state regulations.
- Manage the SmartCare billing software, addressing data errors and ensuring timely tuition billing and collections.
- Collaborate with school leaders to refine operational processes and improve overall school performance.
- Assist in staff onboarding and maintain accurate student and staff files for licensing compliance.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in school operations.
- 2+ years of experience in licensing practices.
- Deep systems experience with Salesforce and online management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly with Excel and PowerBI.
- Ability to operate independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a Montessori educational environment.
- Familiarity with virtual tuition management and collection systems.
