About the position

We are seeking a Part-Time HR Consultant to join our dynamic team. The number of work hours depends on client needs. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping our clients achieve their HR goals by providing expert HR guidance and support, conducting HR audits and assessments, coaching managers, and supporting recruitment efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Providing expert HR guidance and support: Advising clients and providing outsourced HR support on a wide range of HR programs, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, leave administration, performance management, and more.
  • Conducting HR audits and assessments: Identifying areas for improvement and developing solutions to address HR challenges.
  • Coaching managers: Providing guidance and support to managers on various HR topics, including performance management, wage and hour administration, employee development, and conflict resolution.
  • Supporting recruitment efforts: Assisting with job descriptions, interviewing, and on-boarding new hires.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of progressive HR experience.
  • Working knowledge of California laws, regulations and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, HRIS/Payroll systems, and other HR-related technologies.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A deep commitment to providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships.
  • A continuous learner with a strong desire to stay informed about the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently.
