About the position
As a Floor Supervisor at The North Face, you will lead and motivate a team of brand associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience. This role involves collaborating with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to enhance profitability through effective customer engagement, merchandising, and operational compliance. You will also participate in leadership training and development programs to further your career within the company.
Responsibilities
- Direct, develop, and motivate a team of brand associates.
- Ensure a consistent best-in-class customer experience.
- Partner with the Store Manager to maximize profitability.
- Engage customers in conversation about products and local events.
- Supervise floor coverage and store activities, including opening and closing procedures.
- Provide training and ongoing development for store staff.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational objectives.
- Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain brand standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Promote an inclusive environment that encourages participation and creativity.
Requirements
- 1+ years of store management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn and share knowledge of products and community activities.
- Ability to provide a highly engaging customer experience.
- Excellent decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and proficient in computer skills.
Nice-to-haves
