About The Position

As a Supervisor at The North Face, you will lead and motivate a team of brand associates to deliver a best-in-class customer experience that aligns with the brand's values. You will collaborate with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager to enhance profitability through effective customer engagement, merchandising, and operational compliance. This role also emphasizes personal development through the brand's training programs.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of store management experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to drive results through the store team.
  • Willingness to learn and share knowledge of products and local community.
  • Desire to provide a highly engaging customer experience.
  • Excellent decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented with proficient computer skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a specialty retail environment or outdoor apparel industry.
  • High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and develop staff to exceed individual and store productivity goals.
  • Engage customers in conversation about The North Face products and local community events.
  • Supervise floor coverage and activities, including opening and closing the store as scheduled.
  • Provide training and ongoing development of store staff in customer engagement and company policies.
  • Support the Store Manager in achieving financial and operational objectives, including expense control and store audits.
  • Implement visual merchandising directives and maintain standards consistent with company strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and company directives.
  • Model respectful behavior towards diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning.
