About the position

The UPS Store is seeking a Customer Service Counter Associate to provide exceptional service to customers in a retail environment. This full-time position involves assisting customers with shipping, printing, and other services while maintaining a professional demeanor and a friendly attitude. The ideal candidate will have retail sales experience and be eager to learn various aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers with shipping, printing, and other services.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Lift packages up to 50 pounds to chest height.
  • Learn and operate printing and packaging equipment.
  • Become a Certified Notary Public and assist with related services.
  • Work collaboratively with the store team to meet customer needs.

Requirements

  • 2 years of customer service and/or sales experience in a retail environment.
  • Strong computer and internet/research skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds to chest height.
  • Friendly and genuinely helpful demeanor.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in retail sales or similar environments such as FedEx Office, Postnet, or Office Depot.
  • Teaching experience.
