About the position

The Theatre for Kids Program Manager at Rodman for Kids is a pivotal role designed to lead, develop, and expand a rapidly growing program that makes performing arts accessible to children across Massachusetts. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program, including building partnerships, managing logistics, and supporting fundraising efforts, with the goal of reaching an increasing number of kids each year.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and expansion of the Theatre for Kids program.
• Design and implement new initiatives that enhance the educational experience of performances.
• Collaborate with local schools, nonprofit organizations, and performing arts groups to create partnership opportunities.
• Proactively seek and maintain relationships with community stakeholders, including school and nonprofit leadership.
• Oversee program logistics, including scheduling, budgeting, and participant recruitment.
• Attend all Theatre for Kids performances, including some evenings and weekends.
• Support the development team in fundraising efforts specific to the Theatre for Kids program.
• Represent the program at community events and outreach opportunities.
• Track program outcomes and collect data to measure success and areas for improvement.
• Prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in theatre, arts education, program management, youth development, or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Valid driver's license.
