About the position
The Therapeutic Day Program Director at Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) is responsible for overseeing the Therapeutic Day Program in Springfield, MA. This role focuses on ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment for clients, promoting healthy socialization, and managing staff and service delivery. The director will also facilitate staff meetings, approve treatment plans, and provide clinical support as needed.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, monitor, and supervise the staff and service delivery of the program.
- Ensure compliance with the policies and procedures of NCYF and contracting sources.
- Facilitate staff meetings and regular trainings.
- Approve treatment plans and termination summaries.
- Oversee the complete client intakes.
- Provide clinical support and crisis intervention as needed.
Requirements
- Master's degree in human services/social services is required.
- At least 3 years of experience working with youth with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience preferred.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
