About the position

The Westchester Therapeutic Foster Boarding Home (TFBH) Social Worker II plays a crucial role in providing comprehensive case management services to youth and families involved with the Westchester County Department of Social Services. This position focuses on assessing and formulating service plans to help youth achieve their permanency goals while ensuring the safety and needs of the youth in foster/kinship placements are met. Additionally, the Social Worker II will contribute to the development and growth of the Westchester TFBH program.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive case management services to youth and families.
• Assess and formulate service plans for assigned youth and foster/kinship families.
• Support and monitor foster/kinship placements to ensure safety and needs are met.
• Assist in the development and growth of the Westchester TFBH program.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Social Work required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in child welfare, casework, and foster care, or mental health; 4+ years of experience preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
