About the position
The Therapist III position at Meridian Health Services is a full-time role focused on providing professional counseling to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. The therapist will work within the Children's Program in Winchester, Indiana, utilizing both in-person and virtual methods to deliver care. This role is integral to the organization's mission of promoting whole-person healthcare and improving access to mental health services in underserved communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional counseling to individuals, couples, and families.
- Assist clients struggling with depression, anxiety, stress, and adjustment problems.
- Conduct therapy sessions both in-person and virtually.
- Travel to schools as needed based on client requirements.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a license-eligible field (Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy).
- LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC licensure required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- 2 years of experience in a related field required.
- Experience with children preferred.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in integrated care settings.
- Familiarity with whole-person health approaches.
