About the position

The Therapist (Licensed) IOP position at Haven Behavioral Healthcare is a part-time role focused on providing high-quality group therapy and individual therapy for patients in Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and traditional outpatient settings. The therapist will have the opportunity to supervise non-independently licensed clinicians and students, contributing to their professional growth while delivering therapeutic services to patients with mental health and substance use issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct long-term group therapy sessions for IOP, PHP, and traditional outpatient programs.
• Provide individual and family therapy as needed.
• Conduct diagnostic assessments for patient placement in the program.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Guide and supervise non-independently licensed clinicians and students.
• Facilitate safe discharge planning and next steps for patients graduating or unable to continue treatment.

Requirements

• Must be licensed in New Mexico (LMSW, LMHC, LCSW, or LPCC).
• Experience in conducting group therapy and individual therapy.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in supervising or mentoring newer therapists or students.
• Familiarity with diverse therapeutic methodologies and models.
