About the position

Responsibilities

  • Conduct school-based individual, conjoint, and group family therapy sessions under supervision of a clinical supervisor
  • Document therapy based upon DMH regulations and other funding sources documentation requirements
  • Attend training sessions and staff meetings with program/clinical supervisors
  • Responsible for assessment of services and high risk behaviors, treatment, and follow-up
  • Directly implement program protocols and guarantee that procedures are consistent with protocols
  • Other duties as required

Requirements

  • Masters degree in a Social Service related field, required
  • Registered with the BBS and has a BBS number, required
  • Bilingual in Spanish required
  • Valid California drivers license, driving record and personal vehicle insurance acceptable to Hillsides' insurance carrier

Nice-to-haves

  • Previous experience working with severely and emotionally disturbed children and/or experience working in a school based setting, preferred
