About the position
The Thermal SQA Python Automation Engineer role focuses on validating hardware and software for Thermal Control Systems in Apple products. The engineer will be responsible for defining, implementing, and executing tests, analyzing results, and maintaining automation frameworks. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and a strong foundation in Python coding and quality assurance skills.
Responsibilities
- Define, implement, and execute tests to validate Hardware/Software for Thermal Control Systems on Apple products.
- Analyze automation test results for failures, identifying issue trends, and quantifying impact.
- Execute Manual tests and analyze test results.
- Isolate and report defects effectively quantifying customer impact and verify fixes through regression testing and other test methodologies.
- Maintain existing automation framework and develop new automated test cases.
- Work closely and collaborate with cross functional team members.
Requirements
- 8 - 10 years of experience in software quality assurance and automation testing.
- Solid Python coding skills.
- Solid QA skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Working experience on cellular call boxes like Keysight, CMW.
- Understanding of automation frameworks.
- Understanding of data visualization tools (Tableau).
