About the position

The Thermoforming Operator C is responsible for operating and maintaining thermoforming machinery to produce high-quality plastic products. This role involves setting up, monitoring, and troubleshooting the thermoforming process to ensure efficient production and compliance with quality standards, while also adhering to safety protocols and collaborating with team members.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate thermoforming machinery according to product specifications and production requirements.
• Adjust machine settings such as temperature, speed, and pressure to achieve optimal production conditions.
• Perform routine operations required to set up, operate and adjust multiple Thermoforming lines.
• Conduct regular quality checks on thermoformed products to ensure they meet established standards.
• Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the thermoforming process, such as equipment malfunctions or material inconsistencies.
• Maintain accurate production records, including machine settings, production rates, and quality control data.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a Thermoforming Operator, Injection mold, blown film, PVC or similar role in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and machine control interface operations.
• Willing to work a 2-2-3 schedule with planned day/night rotation.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely.
