The practice is complemented by a dedicated Thoracic Surgeon, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and other surgical specialists, all within a hospital-employed setting that promotes a high quality work-life balance. The practice highlights include the treatment of both benign and malignant thoracic and esophageal diseases, supported by a large network of providers that ensures a strong referral base. The facility boasts an STS 2-Star lobectomy lung program and a 2-Star esophageal program, along with a 48-bed ICU that features round-the-clock intensivist coverage. The CoC-accredited Cancer Center provides opportunities for collaboration with a team of eight Medical Oncologists, two Radiation Oncologists, and two Surgical Oncologists. Additionally, the engaged pulmonology practice includes five pulmonologists, and the facility is equipped with advanced technologies such as EBUS, Ion Robotic bronchoscopy, and interventional procedural expertise. The established da Vinci Xi robotic surgery program further enhances the surgical capabilities available to the candidate.
