About the position

The US Thought Leader Engagement Lead for Melanoma/CRC will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive engagement plan for key thought leaders in the field of Melanoma and Colorectal Cancer (CRC) Oncology. This role involves establishing and maintaining relationships with national and regional thought leaders, coordinating engagements, and gathering insights to inform commercial strategies. The position requires a strong focus on collaboration across various functions within Pfizer to enhance the company's presence and partnerships in the oncology space.

Responsibilities

  • Execute a robust multi-stakeholder engagement strategy for Melanoma/CRC Oncology Thought Leaders.
  • Execute strategic plan to maximize the life cycle of the Melanoma/CRC Oncology portfolio.
  • Obtain therapeutic insights from US-based Melanoma/CRC Oncology thought leaders and key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a point of coordination in Melanoma/CRC Oncology across multiple functions and therapeutic areas.
  • Establish and maintain organizational processes and guidelines for compliant KOL engagement.
  • Lead and direct insight gathering from engagements and advisory boards for actionable commercial implementation.
  • Establish connectivity across Pfizer functions to connect KOLs with internal subject matter experts.

Requirements

  • BS / BA Degree required.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in marketing, medical affairs, strategy, customer engagement or business development in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industries.
  • Experience in Melanoma/CRC oncology is critical.
  • Strong executional focus with a desire to spend a majority of time in the field engaging thought leaders, requiring >50% travel.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and think creatively.
  • Demonstrated success in internal/external influence and negotiation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic, organizational, and analytical skills to uncover customer insights.
  • Demonstrated creativity in developing innovative programs.
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to influence peers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior KOL engagement and/or scientific exchange in Melanoma/CRC cancers.
  • Advanced degree.
