About the position

Apple's Security Engineering & Architecture (SEAR) is seeking a passionate threat intelligence analyst to join a team dedicated to enhancing the security of macOS and other Apple products. This role involves analyzing cyber threats, operationalizing threat intelligence, and collaborating with security engineers to develop innovative security solutions. The position is integral to protecting over a billion endpoints and ensuring user privacy, all while fostering a creative and collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze cyber threats to users' devices and provide actionable intelligence.
• Collaborate with security engineers and researchers to develop new security methods and technologies.
• Investigate macOS threat activity and provide insights to inform security engineering decisions.
• Work on both solo and group projects in a virtual/remote environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years experience in threat intelligence or security research.
• In-depth understanding of the threat intelligence cycle and cyber operations.
• Experience in analyzing complex threat actor campaigns, including infrastructure, malware, and victim endpoints.
• Demonstrable experience investigating macOS threat activity.
