About the position
The Restaurant Runner at Thunder Mountain Buffet is responsible for ensuring that all dining stations are well-stocked and clean, enhancing the overall guest experience. This entry-level position involves assisting servers and hosts, clearing dirty dishes, and maintaining a welcoming environment in accordance with the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and replenish all dining stations with necessary stock such as placemats, napkins, silverware, china, and glassware.
- Clear dirty dishes and soiled linen in a timely manner.
- Assist servers and hosts as needed to enhance guest experience.
- Perform all duties in compliance with the Seneca Gaming Corporation's policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older upon employment.
- High school diploma or its equivalency preferred.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills are required.
- Ability to write routine correspondence and speak effectively to the public, employees, and customers.
- Ability to resolve problems and conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
