In this role, the editor/writer will be responsible for reviewing documents for grammar, punctuation, style, organization, and logic. They will reorganize and rewrite content for clarity and readability, ensuring that the edited information remains consistent with the original content and classification. The position requires collaboration with other offices regarding content and editorial considerations, as well as conducting research to verify classification and content of submitted documents. The editor/writer will also assist in the design and layout of publications, ensuring coverage, balance, and consistency in expression and presentation. Additionally, the role includes writing and designing a variety of documents, ensuring that information is presented clearly and concisely to meet the needs of targeted audiences. The editor/writer will also assist in the identification and deployment of new editing technology and will be involved in training new editors and authors as needed.
