About the position

The Ticket Account Executive at Utah State University is responsible for driving ticket sales and providing exceptional customer service for various athletic events. This role involves engaging with current and prospective customers, managing relationships, and achieving sales goals while representing the university's athletic programs.

Responsibilities

  • Sell football, men's and women's basketball, volleyball, gymnastics, women's soccer, and softball tickets, partial plans, group tickets, and other event related products
  • Call current and past customers and cold-call new sales leads to generate sales
  • Contact area businesses and individuals via phone, make in-person appointments, and attend networking events to sell season tickets, corporate, partial plans, and group ticket plans
  • Work some home games, performing various ticket sales and service duties throughout the game
  • Provide excellent customer service to build relationships for repeat business
  • Recognize future sales opportunities
  • Act proactively to create opportunities for new business with existing customers
  • Pursue prospective customers
  • Manage multiple relationships well
  • Build rapport with customers and prospects
  • Provide superior customer service to clients throughout the season
  • Achieve and exceed weekly, monthly, and annual sales goals that are established by management
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Director of Ticket Operations

Requirements

  • Demonstrate a proven track record in sales and building quality relationships
  • Effectively express ideas verbally and in writing
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule

Nice-to-haves

  • 2 years' experience in ticket sales
  • Bachelor's Degree
