About the position

The Ticket Sales Associate at Great Lakes Loons is an entry-level position focused on generating ticketing revenue through sales and customer service. The role involves engaging with fans, selling various ticket products, and building relationships to ensure repeat business. Associates will receive training to develop their sales skills and contribute to the team's success in achieving ticket sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Sell a full menu of ticket products, including full and partial season tickets, group events, and hospitality packages.
  • Engage in an average of 40 interactions per day with fans or potential clients to build relationships.
  • Follow up with clients and prospective clients to foster relationships and meet service excellence expectations.
  • Manage and renew an account base of current customers.
  • Create opportunities for new business through upselling and referrals from existing clients.
  • Handle inbound customer service calls with accuracy and excellent service.
  • Conduct Ballpark tours to generate new business revenue.
  • Meet or exceed all ticket sales goals.
  • Assist with game-day staffing needs including box office, ticket taking, guest services, and sales kiosks.
  • Work outside events as assigned to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives.

Requirements

  • Ability to excel in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly self-motivated, directed, and change-oriented.
  • Ability to work flexible and demanding hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Prior sales experience preferred.
