About The Position

The Ticket Sales and Experience Manager for the Houston Roughnecks is responsible for driving new business through the sale of various ticket packages, including season tickets, group tickets, and premium seating. This role involves actively engaging with prospective clients, managing a client base, and executing game day activations to enhance fan experiences. The position requires a strong focus on customer service and relationship building, as well as participation in community events to promote ticket sales.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years outbound sales experience.
  • Premium and/or ticket sales experience in the sports and entertainment industry preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Suite products required.
  • Experience with servicing customers preferred.
  • Experience with CRM system, Salesforce preferred.
  • Experience with a ticketing system - Ticketmaster/Archtics preferred.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional behavior and appearance.
  • Strong sense of self-awareness and emotional intelligence.

Nice To Haves

  • Fluent in Spanish preferred.
  • Experience in Minor League or start-up sports and entertainment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Sell UFL ticket packages for the Houston Roughnecks.
  • Generate sales through deposit holders and existing leads, as well as develop new leads through personal prospecting, referrals, networking, and social selling.
  • Create and develop new business by pitching prospective clients through virtual presentations, face-to-face meetings, and group presentations at events.
  • Participate and lead activities at UFL team and partner events to support ticket sales efforts and promotional initiatives.
  • Attend community and chamber of commerce events to gather leads and meet new prospects.
  • Handle incoming sales calls from prospective clients for all ticket sales products.
  • Follow up with customers and prospective customers to build relationships and drive business.
  • Meet and exceed assigned sales goals for all ticket products.
  • Manage a client base of 200 - 400 accounts throughout the sales cycle from onboarding to renewal.
  • Execute game day activations to provide fans with access and experiences.
  • Produce accurate updates on prospecting activity, sales performance, and event recaps using Salesforce CRM system.
  • Act as the point of contact for individual business to UFL team and league level management.
  • Contribute positively to a competitive sales team culture and participate in sales team meetings and training sessions.
  • Represent the UFL and the team professionally, with integrity and good judgment.
