About the position

The Tier 1 IT Help Desk Technician at Network For Life is responsible for providing ongoing support for hardware, software, network equipment, and servers, specifically for Organ Procurement Organizations in Ohio and Kentucky. This entry-level position focuses on delivering high-quality end-user support and maintaining user equipment, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots and supports all network laptops/computers.
  • Assists in the management, ongoing operation, and performance of telecommunications systems such as office phone systems and cellular phones.
  • Performs routine maintenance on all equipment, ensuring the latest patches, hot fixes, service packs, and software levels are up to date.
  • Assists in the set-up, maintenance, and repair of PC hardware.
  • Participates in an after-hours on-call rotation with other IT staff.

Requirements

  • Understanding of IT principles and ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to a varied audience.
