About the position

The Tier 2 Technical Support role involves providing remote assistance to users, focusing on resolving level 2 technical issues. This position is essential for ensuring customer satisfaction and effective support for various technical challenges faced by users. The role operates during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, and requires a strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 2 technical support to remote service users.
  • Handle level 2 issues and troubleshoot problems effectively.
  • Assist users with deployment and configuration of software and hardware.
  • Support users with Microsoft Office applications and Windows operating systems.
  • Manage phone support and address customer inquiries promptly.

Requirements

  • Experience in technical support, particularly in a help desk environment.
  • Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 7, Windows 10).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Active Directory and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Ability to troubleshoot PC and printer issues effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with Office 365 and imaging processes.
  • Experience in hardware deployment and asset management.
  • Knowledge of migration processes for software and systems.
