About the position

The Tier II IT Technician at Wise Auto Group is responsible for providing mid-level technical support to ensure the smooth operation of IT systems within the automotive dealership environment. This role involves responding to technical requests with urgency, installing and configuring hardware and software, and resolving support tickets in accordance with service level agreements (SLAs). The technician will also document problem-solving processes and provide both onsite and remote support to end users.

Responsibilities

  • Respond with a sense of urgency to requests and issues.
  • Install and configure hardware and software.
  • Respond to tickets in accordance with SLA guidelines.
  • Document the help desk request problem-solving process through to the final resolution.
  • Diagnose, repair, and replace equipment as needed.
  • Provide onsite and remote support to end users.
  • Resolve all tier support tickets as needed.
  • Test new technology assigned by Team Lead / IT Manager.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 2 years of technical support experience.
  • A+ and Net+ Certification or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship.
