About the position

The Tier1 Batch Analyst position involves supporting the design and management of systems throughout their lifecycle, from inception to phase-out. The role focuses on enhancing internal IT processes, automating workflows, and maintaining infrastructure services. The analyst will perform routine tests, document system issues, and provide analytical support in the development and implementation of inter-linked systems under the guidance of senior technical staff.

Responsibilities

• Supports the design and management of systems over the entire lifecycle from inception to phase-out.
• Enhances internal IT processes by creating scripts to automate workflows.
• Maintains routine operations and infrastructure services.
• Installs, configures, tests, and maintains operating systems and applications software.
• Promotes efficiency by increasing standardization and automating tasks.
• Manages day-to-day maintenance of infrastructure services, systems, applications, and hardware.
• Works with various programming languages, operating systems, and hardware platforms.
• Conducts technical evaluations, design reviews, and quality control.
• Provides technical support in system architecture, design, integration, and management.
• Performs routine tests and documents system issues.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 0-2 years of experience in Systems Engineering/Analysis.
• Experience with RHEL and AWS is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
• Ability to analyze, document, and validate system requirements.
• Ability to work under aggressive deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent analytical, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of server operating systems, network fundamentals, and database applications.
• Ability to provision, install, configure, and maintain systems hardware and software.
