About the position
The TIG Welder position at Elwood Staffing involves working for a manufacturer of pool deck equipment in Canby, Oregon. The primary responsibility is to pre-fabricate and weld various components of the product line, ensuring they meet company standards. This role is essential in the production of stainless steel handrails, ladders, starting blocks, lifeguard stands, and diving boards.
Responsibilities
- Weld various components using thin wall stainless steel (.030 - 0.109)
- Fabricate and fit custom parts
- Perform manufacturing duties other than welding as needed
- Train less experienced welders
Requirements
- 2+ years of verifiable experience in TIG welding or fabrication
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Subject to a background check and pre-employment drug screen
