TIG Welder

About the position

The TIG Welder position involves performing TIG welding tasks primarily on stainless steel, with some MIG welding responsibilities. The role is full-time and operates on the first shift, focusing on delivering clean and solid welds while adhering to safety and quality standards. This position is temp-to-hire, providing an opportunity for long-term employment with a company known for its innovative steam cooking equipment designs.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel materials.
• Conduct some MIG welding as required.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Utilize a tape measure for accurate measurements.
• Ensure clean and solid welds according to specifications.

Requirements

• Experience with stainless steel welding.
• Proficient in TIG welding with some MIG welding experience.
• Own welding gear is required.
• Steel toe boots are mandatory.
• Ability to pass an on-site welding assessment.

Nice-to-haves

• Background in manufacturing or industrial work.
• Familiarity with safety protocols in welding.
