We are currently seeking a skilled TIG Welder to join our innovative team in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. As a TIG Welder, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our operations and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. In this role, you will be responsible for performing TIG (GTAW) welding on critical components for level products. You will need to read and interpret complex blueprints and work instructions, ensuring that you understand the specifications and requirements for each project. Quality is paramount at ABB, and you will be expected to perform quality checks and continuously inspect materials and production processes to ensure that our products meet ABB's high standards. Additionally, you will hydrostatically pressure test welds for leaks and make necessary repairs as needed. You will also assist the Lead or Supervisor with various tasks and may be required to train others as needed. Supporting production with other duties as required will be part of your responsibilities, making this a dynamic and engaging position where you can contribute to the success of our operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform TIG (GTAW) welding on critical components for level products.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints and work instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and continuously inspect materials and production to ensure products meet ABB's high standards.
  • Hydrostatically pressure test welds for leaks and make necessary repairs.
  • Assist Lead or Supervisor with various tasks and training others as needed.
  • Support production with other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience as a TIG (GTAW) Welder welding thin gauge .020" to .050" Carbon steel, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and Hastelloy.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to set up and operate standard welding equipment, setting amps, polarity, gasses, etc.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
