About the position

The Content & Creator Governance Specialist at TikTok is responsible for developing and refining content governance policies that regulate creators' short videos and live-stream content. This role focuses on ensuring a safe and trustworthy marketplace by monitoring content quality, resolving policy violations, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize enforcement systems. The specialist will analyze data to improve governance strategies and stay updated on industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop and refine content governance policies to regulate creators' short videos and live-stream content.
• Close policy and implementation gaps by discovering, measuring, and resolving abusive creator behavior and content quality trends.
• Create proactive monitoring programs based on quantitative data analysis to minimize creator or content policy violations.
• Define operational metrics and own dashboards to monitor operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Build implementation processes and work closely with cross-functional partners to optimize enforcement system efficiencies.
• Monitor and analyze content performance against governance standards, generating reports and offering recommendations for improvement.
• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations to enhance content governance strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or Data Science.
• 5+ years of experience in e-commerce governance strategies or policy-making.
• Proven experience in Strategy or Operations Management Consulting, Platform Governance, Trust and Safety Policymaking, or Ecommerce Strategy.
• Excellent stakeholder and program management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Proficiency in Spanish or Portuguese due to exposure and working with external partners.
• Experience in explaining complex solutions simply and influencing others without authority.
• Highly data-driven with experience in data-driven methodologies for business analysis.
