The creator and affiliate product team at TikTok is dedicated to designing and building products that empower creators to promote merchandise effectively to TikTok users. This includes developing a creator platform, tools, and marketplaces, with a product strategy aimed at driving sales for merchants. The Senior Product Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the product strategy roadmap for the creator team within the commerce platform, ensuring that the needs of creators are met while also achieving business objectives. In this role, the Product Manager will conduct creator interviews and market studies to gain insights into how creators manage their businesses and identify areas for improvement. A deep understanding of the creator ecosystem in the US is essential, as the manager will work on optimizing recommendation and search algorithms to enhance business outcomes. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key to defining the business strategy and product roadmap, ultimately growing the commerce creator community and their ability to drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). The position entails complete ownership of product feature development, from initial requirement management to post-live analysis, ensuring the highest product efficiency and user experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct creator interviews and market studies to understand how creators manage their businesses and identify areas for improvement.
  • Deeply understand the ecology of creators in the US and optimize recommendation and searching algorithms to achieve better business results.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business strategy and product roadmap.
  • Grow the commerce creator community and enhance their ability to drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
  • Take complete ownership of product feature development, from initial requirement management to post-live analysis.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience.
  • In-depth understanding of both commerce business and creator ecosystem; knowledge of affiliate products is a plus.
  • Solid product management skillset with strong cross-team communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to capture business pain points and opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
