About the position

TikTok is the leading destination for short-form mobile video, with a mission to inspire creativity and bring joy. The role of Creator Product Manager is pivotal in shaping the product strategy to enhance the experiences of TikTok creators. This position requires a high level of complex problem-solving across various time zones and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing the creator experience, which includes the onboarding process, the end-to-end creative process, and supporting creators in their growth and monetization efforts. In this role, you will gain insights into the needs of creators and drive the design and iteration of relevant products, such as publishing tools and the content management platform. You will lead the implementation of solutions, coordinate cross-functional resources, and ensure that goals are achieved efficiently. Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with algorithm, operations, design, and development teams to ensure high-quality project implementation. The US product team is focused on understanding users, identifying opportunity areas, prioritizing problems to solve, and rapidly creating innovative user experience solutions. We are looking for experienced product managers who can continually push the innovation bar to optimize products that drive user engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize TikTok creators' experiences, including creator onboarding, end-to-end creative process experience, and helping creators grow and monetize.
  • Gain insights into creator needs and drive the design and iteration of relevant products such as publishing and the content management platform.
  • Lead solution implementation, coordinate cross-functional resources, and ensure efficient goal achievement.
  • Collaborate closely with algorithm, operations, design, and development teams to ensure high-quality project implementation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above.
  • Excellent product thinking and problem-solving skills, with strong logical thinking and data analysis abilities.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Passion for content creation, interest in the creator ecosystem and experience, and bonus points for experience in managing self-media accounts or the content industry.
