About the position

The creator and affiliate product team at TikTok is dedicated to designing and building products that empower creators to promote merchandise effectively to TikTok users. This includes developing a robust creator platform, tools, and marketplaces, all aimed at driving sales for merchants through innovative product strategies. As a Senior Product Manager for Creator & Affiliate Products, you will play a pivotal role in understanding the needs of creators through interviews and market studies. Your insights will help identify how creators manage their businesses and highlight areas for potential improvements. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define the business strategy and product roadmap, focusing on growing the eCommerce creator community and enhancing their ability to drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV). You will have complete ownership of product feature development, overseeing everything from initial requirement management to post-live analysis. Your goal will be to drive the best product efficiency and user experience, ensuring that the tools and platforms developed meet the needs of creators and merchants alike.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct creator interviews and market studies to understand how creators manage their businesses and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business strategy and product roadmap.
  • Grow the eCommerce creator community and enhance their ability to drive Gross Merchandise Value (GMV).
  • Take complete ownership of product feature development, from initial requirement management to post-live analysis.
  • Drive product efficiency and user experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of product management experience.
  • In-depth understanding of eCommerce business and creator ecosystem; knowledge of affiliate products is a plus.
  • Solid product management skillset with strong cross-team communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to quickly identify business pain points and opportunities.
  • Bachelor's degree is required.
