About the position

The Logistics Business Operations Manager at TikTok Shop is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the carrier logistics network, aiming to reduce delivery costs, expedite transit times, and improve reliability. This role involves cross-functional collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and project management to support the growth of TikTok's e-commerce initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to developing and executing data-driven strategies to improve the carrier logistics network.
• Implement pilot programs for new service offerings, identifying areas for improvement through data analysis.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Operations, and Procurement teams to ensure logistics solutions align with business priorities.
• Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of logistics initiatives.
• Support cross-functional working groups across various departments including Product, Operations, and Marketing.
• Manage the development and market launch of new logistics offerings, including writing Business Requirement Documents (BRDs).
• Provide insights and solutions to cross-functional leadership on logistics network performance.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in logistics management, product management, business operations, or related field.
• Proven track record of developing and launching new initiatives.
• Proficient in data analysis, metric development, and building analytical support for proposals.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and build alignment around new initiatives.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
